Most visitors to Cambodia fly over Phnom Penh on their way to Angkor Wat. It's a great pity because Phnom Penh is one of the most interesting and charming towns in Indochina. Beautiful French colonial architecture abounds. Restaurants and shopping are terrific. There is plenty to see, including what some believe is the most important museum in Southeast Asia. For all the tragedy and turmoil that Cambodia's capital has witnessed in the past it is now a lively cosmopolitan gateway bursting with energy, commerce, culture and very attractive people. Visit magnificent palaces, cruise the Mekong River, or shop for striking silks and glittering jewelry. Phnom Penh has maintained the grace of old Asia while retooling for 21st century changes. Over the past two years Phnom Penh’s gay scene has started to flourish with new gay bars opening regularly. The boys and girls of Phnom Penh are very friendly but a little more conservative than their Thai neighbors. Most speak good English or French and are more than keen to show visitors a good time in their beautiful city.

Manor House Phnom Penh is a 12 room gay owned and managed boutique guest house and POOL located in central Phnom Penh. Established 2 years ago by ex Sydney boys Kim Chau, from Sydney’s Angkor Wat restaurant, and his partner Greg Smith, it has recently moved to new renovated premises with a beautiful salt water pool. Situated in a quiet, secure area just near the Independence Monument, Manor House is close to local gay bars and restaurants and only a short distance to riverside attractions, Royal Palace and local markets. The friendly and capable staff can provide local information to assist guests.
All rooms have air, cable, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities and wi fi internet is available. A continental breakfast is served each morning beside the pool and is included with room price.
Local transport and tours can be arranged to suit your needs and budget. Airport Meeting service is available on request. Pick up from airport US$8.00
