Governors on Fitzroy Bed and Breakfast Guest house will be your home in Sydney whether you are travelling for pleasure or for business.

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, this guest house is conveniently located at 64 Fitzroy St, Surry Hills, half a kilometre from the centre of Sydney. Governors on Fitzroy was established in 1987, the original Victorian features of the terrace-style house, circa 1863, have been restored creating the ambience of a bygone period combined with the comforts of today. Five guest rooms provide comfortable and private accommodation. Each guest room has been individually decorated giving it a special feel. Four rooms have a queen size bed, and one has a double bed. Each room has a vanity basin and there are two share bathrooms in the house. There is a \'smoke-free\' policy in the house.

Surry Hills, on the edge of Sydney\'s central business district, is an interesting neighbourhood to explore, with easy and safe walking access to the City of Sydney, the many tourist attractions, local shopping and the local gay and lesbian nightclubs and bars.

The tariff at Governors on Fitzroy includes a full American-style cooked breakfast in the Dining Room. Breakfast here is a time to share the tales of travelling and to gain information on the city\'s \'must-do\'s\'. Free tea and coffee facilities are available 24 hours. The communal guest areas include the lounge/TV room with piano, and a private garden with heated spa and sun deck. Other facilities available to guests include phone, fax and wireless internet access.
