The Rail Carriage has Two separate bedrooms with their own en-suite, Reverse cycle Air-Con, Queen Beds, Flat Screen TV, DVD Player. Each Room has it's own patio. The Carriage has a private garden with a grassed area for lazing and sun bathing. Also there ia a insect screened Gazebo for shaded outdoor dining or just idling the hours away.
The House Room has a Double Bed with reverse cycle Air-Con, Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, Private entrance from the Verandah, The room has shared facilities, boasting a large bathroom with separate Shower and plunge bath. The Verandah has a beautiful west-facing aspect and this is where the Tropical Breakfast is served. There is 6 person Spa off the verandah for guests to use.
'The Palms' is a 15 min walk to Restaurant area of Palmer St. and a 5 min Taxi ride to the Night Club area or the local Gay Bar. There is so much to see and do in Towwnsville with it's topical climate and 300 days of sunshine each year. The world acclaimed 'The Strand' is one of the most vibrant city beach promenades in the world. It is great for a walk, bicycle ride(bicycles available) or roller blade. After a walk call into the Reef HQ where you can see the largest living Coral Reef Aquarium in the world. Take a day trip to Magnetic Island or 'Maggie' as the locals refer to our pride and joy. Tour the Island by Bus, Mini Moke, Moped or Bicycle. The Island boosts many walking tracks from Bay to Bay or to spectacular summit lookouts. Accommodation can be arranged through The Palms at a two bedroom Unit (subject to availability).
A Tropical Breakfast is included and consists of a seasonal Fruit Platter, Cereals, a variety of Breads, Teas, Coffee and Fruit Juice. Tea and Coffee facilities are available throughout the day on the Verandah and in the rooms. A Large BBQ is available for the use by the guests.
