The moment you walk through the foyer of 65 Main, you instantly feel that your getaway has begun.

The five bedroom guesthouse is situated smack bang between the two regional centres of Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. It's surrounded with delicious eateries and restaurants, galleries, relaxation spa facilities, and the gorgeous splendours of rural Victorian country side. There is no shortage of things to do, yet no pressure to do anything. After all, it's your holiday.

65 Main is a B+B built on passion and experience. Owner-operator Christine bought the property a little over 10 years ago, and over the years, converted it into the magnificent B+B that you see today. The commitment to your experience as a guest is abundantly apparent in the detail that permeates every aspect of the guesthouse. You can see it in the interior decor, the video and music collection, the access to facilities, and the personalized attention that is just for you.

Having lived, worked and played in the area for such an extensive period, Christine shares an extensive understanding of Daylesford / Hepburn history, and has an intimate knowledge of the best places to eat, shop, relax, and be fascinated by. She supports local businesses, and has excellent connections with the surrounding local businesses and personalities. You really notice the use of local produce, products and services at 65 Main. It all comes back to an authentic and unique experience for the guests.
Booking accommodation at 65 Main takes a lot of the hassles out of planning that perfect getaway. Christine is there to point you in the right direction, or actually make it happen and do all the planning and arranging for you. From start to finish, she single-handedly takes care of every aspect of guest accommodation, including the delicious free breakfast you get every morning. That is a considerable workload for just one person.

"It seems like a lot of work, yes, but the truth is, I love it," she said when asked about running the property. "My guests come here to enjoy themselves and have an experience, and it's the most wonderful thing to see them smiling at the end of their stay here, because they got exactly what they were after. It's really recharging and rewarding."
