Best of all it is just a pleasant 15-minute stroll along the waterfront and through the Domain Park into the city, or via the beautiful Botanic Gardens to the Opera House, the historic Rocks area, the Harbour Bridge Climb, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and Circular Quay with the harbour ferries to Taronga Zoo, Manly Beach and also to the Darling Harbour Aquarium and Chinatown. The NSW Art Gallery, the State Library, Parliament House, the City Aquatic & Sports Centre and harbourside swimming pool, St Mary's Cathedral, the Australian Museum, Queen Victoria shopping boutiques and other tourist and business areas as well as most major museums and galleries are all within easy walking distance. Public transport is just around the corner, including the blue Explorer buses to Bondi Beach.
All our comfortable rooms are decorated in traditional style, and have private ensuite bathrooms, either queen, king or twin beds, individually controlled air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial phones, modem points, as well as windows that actually open.
Continental breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, juices and toasts, tea and coffee is served in the sunny conservatory, and the front lounge areas are always available for reading and evening socialising.
