Skydive the Beach Sydney is NSW’s only beach skydive! Open 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. With complimentary return transfers from the Sydney CBD, and easy access to the drop zone by rail, Skydive the Beach offers a half-day activity that rivals any for tourists and locals. Tandem skydiving with Skydive the Beach Sydney involves jumping from 14,000ft above the beach attached to an experienced tandem instructor. With only 15 minutes instruction customers are able to experience the ultimate thrill…..falling towards the earth at over 200km/hr. Various filming options give customers amazing footage of their skydive to take home and keep forever. Footage is taken from a video camera mounted on the wrist of the tandem instructor. A super-wide angle lens captures views of the entire trip, including pre-jump interview, bus ride, flight, freefall, flying under the parachute, and landing. This footage captures the same scenery that separate camera person would, with great close-up action and the canopy ride as well! The footage is cut with special effects and music to create a mini movie with an additional photo CD that can be taken home on the same day. We also now offer photo only packages for those who do not wish to pay the full price of the DVD. Included in the price of each and every skydive is a full colour certificate of achievement, colour sticker, discount card and membership to the Australian Parachute Federation. This is Wollongong’s main beach two minutes from the city centre, a safe patrolled beach with a great reef break. There are free beachside BBQs and weather shelters perfect for that post jump picnic. The park and beach are surrounded by restaurants, bars and cafes, and there is a great variety of accommodation available to suit all budgets.
